Earn your CDA while you work in early childhood education
Sonshine Childcare in Pittsburg, KS, offers new teachers the opportunity to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification while working in early childhood education. Applicants can apply as Teachers or Lead Teachers and can work towards their CDA Certification through KDHE while working in the classroom. Sonshine Childcare covers the cost of CDA certifications for staff who commit to a one-year service agreement and offers raises for milestones in certification.
Sonshine Childcare is working towards enrolling as a Kansas apprenticeship program to offer certification through apprenticeships in the near future, offering another pathway to certification.
